What’s on the Floor
The core of Bear Claw Casino & Hotel is its slot floor. We run around 132 slot machines across a 30,000 sq ft gaming area in southeast Saskatchewan. The casino is on White Bear First Nation land, just off Highway 9 near Carlyle, and has been operating under the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) since 1993.
| Parameter | Detail |
|---|---|
| Slot machines | ~132 units |
| Table games | 6 |
| Casino floor size | 30,000 sq ft |
| Opened | 1993 |
| Operator | Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) |
| Location | White Bear First Nation, near Carlyle, SK |
On top of the slots, there are six table games running on the floor. It is not a mega-resort lineup, but for a regional casino the mix fits the size and traffic. Most public listings show operating hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily, with some references to slightly longer hours on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are planning a late-night visit, it is safer to call ahead since online information does not always update right away.
Online Play: The Circuit and PlayNow
Bear Claw is first and foremost a land-based venue. Still, our official site at bearclawcasino.ca points to two digital pieces that matter if you want to play from home.
The main one is PlayNow. On our site it is presented as Saskatchewan’s only legal online gambling platform. It is regulated at the provincial level, uses CAD for all transactions, and profits are directed back into Saskatchewan. So no offshore brands, no semi-legal portals. For Saskatchewan residents who want online slots, this is the compliant option.
Alongside that we highlight “The Circuit.” This is a section on bearclawcasino.ca that lays out a digital gaming schedule, broken out into Auto Play and Live Dealer sessions with fixed hours. It does not operate as a separate online casino brand. Think of it as a structured, online-facing extension of the Bear Claw casino floor, built on top of the PlayNow environment.
In practice, getting into online slots and tables through this route looks roughly like:
- Open bearclawcasino.ca on your phone or desktop
- Go to The Circuit section in the main navigation
- Check the current Auto Play and Live Dealer hours
- Use the PlayNow link provided there
- Register or log in - residency in Saskatchewan has to be verified
- Enter the game lobby and choose your slot titles
- Set your CAD deposit limits in the account area
- Start playing within the scheduled window you picked
It usually helps to decide on your deposit limit before play actually starts. Platforms tend to make initial limit-setting straightforward, while changes during a session can take more steps or longer to confirm.
Funding goes straight through PlayNow’s own cashier flow. Verified sources do not list external payment processors in that path. All balances and stakes run in Canadian dollars from start to finish.
Table Games
On the physical side, the Bear Claw casino floor hosts four confirmed types of table games:
- Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Roulette
- Three-Card Poker
The Circuit mentions Live Dealer tables for online play as well, aligning closely with the formats you see in the building. It reflects the same style of games, only delivered digitally on a schedule. We do not have officially published RTP data or clear minimum and maximum bet limits in any verified public source for the land-based or Live Dealer formats.
| Game Type | Format Available |
|---|---|
| Slot machines | Land-based (132 units) |
| Blackjack | Land-based + digital reference |
| Baccarat | Land-based + digital reference |
| Roulette | Land-based + digital reference |
| Three-Card Poker | Land-based |
| Live Dealer | The Circuit (online schedule) |
For players mixing channels, the Live Dealer tables visible through The Circuit are the closest thing to a blended experience. You are away from the property but still playing within our schedule and our structure. Auto Play sits on the more flexible side, especially for online slots where you want to jump in during available windows.
